Sir Isaac Newton was born in the year 1642 in Woolsthrope. He attended Grammar School in Grantham where he became fascinated by chemicals. Later on, at age seventeen, he decided to return to his home and take care of the farm. Unfortunately for him, he failed at becoming a farmer. His mother was told that it would be better for Isaac to attend a university instead of trying to become a farmer. That being said, he later on attended Trinity College, Cambridge in the year of 1661.
He contributed a lot to scientific world. He developed his own theories, such as the law of inertia and the law of universal gravitation. He kept most of his ideas in a journal that he used to organize them. He was considered, and possibly is considered as one of the most brilliant scientist and mathematician that ever existed. He was one of the reasons that calculus was discovered. The fact that most of his theories and discoveries are used and accepted by everyone today means that he was an important person who helped modernize our world.
